Having pain on my upper left side under breast area..

I am 8 months out of sleever surger,  and I am having pain on my upper left side for 3 days now..  If anyone has experienced this I would appreciate your feedback.. I dont want to run to ER if this is normal feeling. 

At 8 months out, I wouldn't imagine this kind of pain to be normal, nor would I expect it to have much if anything to do with your sleeve.

I would at least go to an urgent care clinic, or call my insurance company's nurse line and see what they say. If it hasn't killed you in 3 days, it's probably not your appendix or anything like that, but it still doesn't sound normal.

At 8 months out it could be totally unrelated to WLS.

I have a 3 day rule for sickness or injury....
If it doesn't improve in 3 days then off to the doctors I go.

 Your gallbladder is on the right side and usually refers pain to shoulder.  Hard to say if its related to surgery at 8 months.  You shouldnote if anything aggrevates your pain like deep breaths, sitting, standing, eating...any arm pain numbness or tingling.  I dont know how old you are but this could be your heart or stomach.  Good luck!

Appendix is Lower Right.  3 days or not under the breast bone L side, I would always call a Doc. being a retired Medical Asst. you never want to take a chance on any kind of heart issues, better them to say pulled muscle than wait to find your having episodes leading to something with your heart.

My gallbladder pain was in the center of my chest and radiated straight through to my back.  It felt (for me) like horrible indigestion and I would sit on the floor by the toilet hoping to throw up (which I couldn't).....Hope it's not that but if it is, it's soooooo much better once it's out.
