I'm havin a bad bad day (to the tune of Despicable Me)
I totally did not get any protein shakes in today but did great on the water front and I did get in 3 protein forward meals. Tomorrow is a new day though and once the bloodwork is done I can get back to normal. Also going back on my antidepressants since I skipped for a week cuz they are god-awful crushed up and I have been avoiding that taste like nobodies business. But it's pretty obvious to me that I need to be on them even post-op. I had a sad sad day even though I got some cute new work out clothes, my NUBS fitness ball and Tony Little exercise DVDs along with 2 books by my favorite author. So I figure that the sads must be due to skipping the anti-depressants. Plus I am pretty sure the fact that I smoked a LOT more than normal this past few days has a lot to do with not taking them. For some reaosn they help me cut back without a lot of problems.
So (deep breath) back on the meds after bloodwork in the morning and back on the protien wagon. and for tonight I am going to give in and take my oxycodone and see if that helps me sleep. see y'all tomorrow if i manage to sleep all night tonight lol.

I'm probably going to get yelled at for telling you not to follow your surgeon's advice.... but I'm going to risk it.
Just swallow your pills whole.
Now, don't swallow pills on a full stomach or anything, but you probably certainly won't have an issue. I and many other people started swallowing pills right out of surgery, on day two without any adverse effects.
.....
Of course, you should follow your surgeon's advice.
Also, remember that suddenly discontinuing an SSRI (antidepressant) is going to suck. If you want to quit them, be sure to ween off them.
AND STOP SMOKING!!!!!!!!!![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/angry_smile.gif)

Ruggie bless your heart! I actually just swallowed the anti-depressants whole. they aren't that big to start with and so I said "Screw it i'm just gonna do it and if the pills are still sitting there when they do the ultra sound in the morning then somebody can yell at me" lol. Oh and i took my gigantic horse pills for my cholesterol whole too because it takes me FOREVER to crush them down and they be nasty as well. and yes Sir! I am working on the quitting smoking. Forgot about the hypnotist with all the other damn running around I had to do today but I put a sticky note on my computer to remind me tomorrow. Classy? Really? thank you Ruggie. That's the best compliment I got all day
