I will be 2 months tomorrow and I would say I'm half way there to a good ole chug. It definitley gets better!

very good to know! I thought it was a lifetime thing of having to take small sips. I'm the same way when working out, I want lots of water, not tiny sips!

I am 10 weeks out tomorrow, and I can "chug" if I want to... in fact, I was in the grocery store on Saturday and I was SO thirsty I bought an Aquafina and stood there drinking it (chugging****il it was my turn to pay for it - it was half gone!! I honestly don't notice a difference in my drinking... now eating? A different story altogether! Save it for another blog!!

I'm a week further out than you and I cannot CHUG....but I can drink a 20oz glass/bottle of water in around 10 mins.  That seems fast enough for me.

I can also take either 1 big drink or 3 smaller drinks in succession and don't have any issues.  There was "restriction" the first 10 days but it has gotten much better as swelling went down.

I think it will get better for you soon!

yes you will be able to... but I did find that I am not as thirsty as I use to be before surgery... except after a hard workout I drink a 24 oz bottle of water... and then another 20 oz over the next  hour or so...
