7.5 Months, 120 total pounds lost. What I did today...

I weigh 255 pounds today. I started at 375. My son, 11, was so excited when he could give me a hug and his hands reached around. He measures my weight loss now by how far he can overlap his hands.

My daughter, almost 9, today asked if she could do another 5k with me. She asked why we never did one before. I told her it was because Mommy never coud before. She said "because now you're getting so skinny and excercising?". Yeah. It's moments like that, honestly (**** I'm crying)... it's moments like that make me wish I had been ready to do this years ago before my weight ballooned up to 375. It's moments like that make it worth every single struggle I have endured and still endure. It makes up for those moments of honestly wishing I could eat my way out of my feelings.

It's not easy. But it's worth it.

Best of luck to you! xoxo

What a great an inspirational story! Those NSV's we experience with our children are in my opinion some of the BEST most solidifying ones we will ever have. (at least for me those have been the ones I hold on to when I am having a moment)

My children ground me and remind me always why I made this decision and why I have to lead every day in my constant search of happy, healthy and whole.

Congratulatiions on your accom[plishment! Be so proud on you!
