I think aside from asking the doctor, the answer is really when it is comfortable for you. Everyone has a different pain level. It was probably a few weeks for me...I had a lot of pain for the first few weeks and had zero interest.

Heh, well, we weren't too smart. He had his vasectomy 2 weeks before my surgery and was on a "no sex" for two weeks. Then I had my surgery. We were told 2-3 weeks. I think we waited 10 days. Just make sure you're super comfortable and you control the weight distribution or err.. position. If it hurts, stop.

I'm not good with that whole waiting thing.
