I am having my surgery at the Brigham and women's hospital in Boston on 4/6. I am going to recover at our home (yes it was once mobile !) in St Pete. I would like to get down there sooner than later. I want to have a plan in case I have a problem while I am there....Any info would be greatly appreciated !!!

I use Dr. Gonzalvo.  He is located in Largo but does his bariatric surgeries at Palms of Pasadena.  He is a wonderful doctor.  I go to the support groups at both Tampa General (Dr. Gonzalvo is a back-up doctor there) and at Dunedin Mease Hospital (Dr. Gonzalvo does surgery here but not Bariatric.  His partner Dr. Gordon is very nice as well.  This area has 4 centers of Excellence so it is a good place to be.
