Anyone not reach 50% by 3 months and STILL get to goal?
My surgeon has never kept track... he gave me the stats at the beginning and said that it was a tool and I was pretty mu*****ontrol of how much or how little I wanted to lose. So I have never heard anything from him about what weight I should be by what time frame. Which is kinda nice since I push myself for my weight and will stop when I am happy with what I have lost. I don't see why you wouldn't lose the weight and get too goal it may take longer than others but that's ok too :)
I am one year out. I don't concentrate on what I haven't done, just what I HAVE done !!! What I HAVE DONE is lost 122 pounds in 19 months -- 34 pounds pre-op and 88 pounds post op.
I will not let myself get caught up in negatives, or in self doubt, or in feeling guilty for what I haven't done ! That is neither logical, nor helpful at all.
Each day, I try my hardest to be active, to eat well, to eat protein first, take my vitamins and to get my liquids in.

My doctor said my goal is 140 lbs. My NUT - who is in my doctor's office - said at my two week post op follow up to lose weight at about 2-3 lbs. a week.
I lose weight in fits and starts. Will lose a pound a day for several days in a row then not lose anything for several days, even a week or two, then start losing a pound or so a day again for several days. Today is my 8 week surgiversary and so far I've lost 16 pounds pre-surgery and 31 pounds post surgery.
Someone on this board posts often in response to these types of threads where someone is worrying about their weight loss - there is no way we won't lose weight because of how we eat and exercise (paraphrased). So, I will keep eating healthier food within my calorie range and keep exercising. The weight will come off.
