having some issues with sipping

I think experiementlng with temperature is going to be the best solution for you. I could not drink cold anything. Had to be warm, not hot, or room temp.
I could do no lemon water or any of the crystal lights with citric or absorbic acid. When I added that to water my tummy hurt. Now I drink plain old water. It works the best for me and at 7 1/2 weeks out I can drink 80 oz easily in a day.
Whatever you try, don't stop sipping. You need the hydration and protein to heal properly! Best of luck figuring this out. You are wise to come to the boards for help. I find this board to be a wealth of information and support.

The same thing happened to me, and honestly, the only thing that helped was time. Give it a week or two -- you probably won't notice but it'll die down and pretty soon you'll forget that it even happened.
