Calf pain and slight fever
At about 7:30 tonight I noticed when I stood up the my left calf feels like the muscle is tight and sore like I worked it out a little too much. Also my temp has been 100.1 for most of the day. i am wondering if the 2 are related and if anyone knows the symptoms of that blood clot issue (can't remember the name, thank you oxycodone) and if this might be something I should worry about. I have made it through 18oz of a protein drink, 25oz of water, and have walked and walked as much as I can today. Did 5 laps around all the aisles at the Dollar General at a fairly mild pace and even did my basement stairs a couple times for good measure. I dont want to go to the hospital if this just a lil sore muscle from all the walking but at the same time I don't want to wake up with an embolism in my lung either. Anyway, If anyone else has felt this or had a similar issue what did you do?

I would at least call your surgeon as running a temp is in my opinion a reason to get checked out. When I received a follow up call from the hospital a couple of days after discharge, they asked me about calf and leg pain, so I assume it was to make sure I wasn't experiencing any. Please call your surgeon!
I know my cheerleaders have pain like what you describe sometimes when they get dehydrated, which you could be if you have only gotten 25 oz of water in, but I'm not sure that would cause a fever.
I know my health insurance company has a 24/7 nurse line that I can call if I'm not sure if I need to go to a hospital or not, or if I have other immediate questions. Does yours offer something like that?
