I do veggies with every meal and have from 6 weeks out. I 'm insistent on it one of the reasons being that I'm a lap band revision and i could never get any vegetable passed that damn band so for 2 years it was no veg.  I cook meals that include veggies, if it's tuna salad its got onion and tomato, i do a noodle less lasagna with eggplant, i do some Indian dishes with green beans and red peppers.  Sometimes all i get in is a tablespoon but i do feel that I'm doing something healthy for my body.  It's raining here today so it's pot roast with carrots, green beans, onions and celery. I tend to get in i tablespoon with every 2oz protein.

I drink a small can of v8 almost every day. Eventually, I will eat more veggies, but right now at 4 months out, I'm not worrying about it

Patience!  The first several months are all about the protein.  When you're comfortably getting your protein goals met, you can start adding in the extras, like veggies and fruit.  As early out as you are, I wasn't even thinking about anything but protein.

Somewhere around 4 months out, I started making an effort to get in a bite or 2 or veggies.  Now, I eat salads regularly (topped with protein!) and have raw veggies as snacks.  It'll all come in time.
