I think deep down I already knew...

I "only" had mild sleep apnea, but that cpap changed my life immediately. I couldn't believe how much better I felt after sleeping with it! One month after surgery I was able to get rid of it. I've been sleeping and dreaming ever since. It wasn't until I got my cpap that I realized I hadn't had a dream in years. Now I've got a movie playing in my head every night!

Thank you all! I think I was emotional about it, not only from the fact that I was sleep deprived from the test the night before, but also because I didn't want to know there was something wrong with my health. I had, at this point, managed to avoid diabetes and other weight involved issues, except for high blood pressure, so to find out I had sleep apnea really scared me!

That is why it is soooo important to communicate in this group, because there are always others who are currently or have gone through the same things, and can bring advice, reassurance, or just a sympathetic ear. Thanks for all of the above!
