Dumb Question!

I was sleeved 12/28/11 and am still in the liquid/mushy stage for another 10 days. I have a dumb question, though....

I know we can't drink while eating and must wait at least 30 minutes after eating, but is that 30 minutes after we take our first bite or our last bite? I'm presuming the latter, but I just wanted to make sure. I know it's a dumb question!

Thanks!

The only dumb questions are the ones not asked.  So that being said - err on the side of caution and go with 30min after your last bite of food.

Best of luck.

I'm a nut case. I usually look at the clock when I start eating and then when I stop. Then I wait at least 30 minutes from my stopping time before I resume drinking.  It's pretty much habit now.

My tummy is kind of funny - I can tell when it has significantly emptied and I use that feeling. But...it's generally more like 45 minutes or more for me. If I drink before that I'm uncomfortable even if it has been 30 minutes.

No question is dumb...everyone here has went through this and I'm sure have asked this question therselves once before. Though all medical doctor advice is different...mine told me not to drink 15 min before I eat and wait 15-30 minutes after.
