Hopefully they will give you a detailed list of your eating stages...VERY important.
My NUT really did not leave anything out.
Be sure you know these important numbers...How many grams of protein daily?
How many carbs daily?
How much water daily?
When he/she tells you that you willl only be able to eat a small amount, trust me that will be the truth.
Following all the food stages is very important. Remember to just take it one day at a time. Remember that the hard stages will end. You have to give your body time to heal, and all will go well.
You will understand so much more after your appointment tomorrow.
Feel free to add me as a friend. I will help you with anything I can..

For me, meeting with the nutritionist was the scariest - was so afraid she would judge my bad behavior lol!
The first question I would have is if they have a written meal plan that will be provided - if they don't, you will need to take lots of notes.
My surgeon's group is great about providing so much material for before surgery and all the phases after. They also know that it's a lot to absorb, so give it to you over time in lots of small bites. It helped me a lot to put all of it in a binder and add tabs to help me find the info when I needed it - especially when groggy from all the meds!
hope this helps!
