Whatcha eating today VSGers? Thursday...
Last night I got caught by surprise because I forgot monthly support group meeting (oops) and I have to go straight from work. Picked up a hard-boiled egg at the convenience store for dinner, had half a Quest bar for my evening snack. So yay for successful improvisation.
Today:
Breakfast: shake 40 gm protein
1st lunch: the other half of that Quest bar
2nd lunch: shake 40 gm protein
Dinner: Chicken breast topped with provolone
Snack: 2 or 3 Puddin' protein cubes*
Water: at 64 oz, shooting for 96 oz
Vitamins: easy peasey
Exercise: probably a Walk Away The Pounds 3 mile walk
*Puddin' Protein Cubes recipe:
One can Power Pak protein pudding
One scoop chocolate protein powder
1/2 tablespoon dark chocolate cocoa
Mix. Freeze in ice cube tray with small sections. I made 11 at 26 calories, 5 grams of protein and 1 carb each. Yours will vary based on brand of protein. Tastes like a protein fudgsicle.
You can get the pudding at Vitamin Shoppe or GNC. This recipe would also work with Greek Yogurt except I don't like Greek Yogurt.

Water: 59 oz and counting
Vitamins: On track
Exercise: Shoveling my long and steep driveway...usually takes an hour.

Water- lacking but I'm working on it

Exercise- I am chasing my 2 year old god son around for the next 48 hours that's good enough right?
LND: 2.5 oz orange balsamic chicken, 2T green beans
LNS: herbal tea
B: protein shake
S: small sliver birthday cake, 10 grapes, herbal tea
L: baked chicken thigh (no skin), salad w/rasp vinegrette, 1T mashed potato
S: choc chip cookie
D: unsure... dinner at boss's house tonight
S: surely something at the boss's house (eek!)
water: all done already! will keep drinking though

exercise: off day
