Travel shortly after VSG surgery ?

 check with your surgeon... i know plenty of people who have had in mexico are fine to travel, but i was going to go from n.j. to maine my 2nd week and my surgeon said absolutely not, he wanted me close by.  good thing too because i ended up in the ER with dehydration when i would've been in maine.  

I drove from Ohio to Georgia like 4 days out. I took a lot of things with me, and I took all my release papers and instructions from the hospital, just in case I wouldn't have to go to a hospital. My bag alone for everything but clothes was waaayyy to heavy for me to lift, so I hope you are nto going alone. Just Remember to take it easy, go as slow as you need and have a good time!
