What kinda cheese do YOU like in your cheese crisps?

You probably could. It's a peanut based sauce as I recall. Usually found in the Greek/ethic section of the grocery store. I think! I dunno, hubby does the shopping/cooking :)

From happyteacher further down in this thread:

You don't have to use tahini in hummus- it adds a lot of fat.  I use a food processor, chick peas plus lemon juice and garlic powder.  I use so much garlic it makes it spicy hot, but no need to go over board.  You could also grind roasted peppers (in a jar) for flavor.  Here is a more precise recipe:

I like sharp cheddar, but I also like monterey and colby jack, and I like to add ranch powder to mine (the same one you use to make dressings etc.) I only use a little, makes it even better ;-)

I make Parmesan fluted cups to hold my salad greens (with homemade Italian dressing.) They are beautiful and really wow the audience. Take teflon fry pan, spread Parmesan (the shredded kind you find in plastic bags) over diameter of pan--oh, probably about 1 cup per salad plate. Fry on med high till brown on bottom, (you can kinda shape it with a spatula into a circle),then flip and fry till sl. brown on this side. Remove from pan, place over a glass and cup it with your fingers so it is in a pretty shape. Once cooled, will hold your salad greens. Very special.
