Advice on Menu at 3.5 weeks post-op
Hello,
I was banded on 2-4-2011, approximately one year ago. I have to say that I am very disappointed because I lost and gained a total of 101bs off and on throughout the entire year. I am now doing a revision, and having the gastric sleeve. I wish I knew about the sleeve before I got banded. I am so praying that this gasric sleeve works this time, because I am not a fan of having a lot of surgeries putting myself at risk. Did anyone have this problems.

I personally did not have the band but I know that there are MANY members who did have the revision to the sleeve done. You may want to post this in a new post or do a search for band to sleeve revisions.
You are definitely not alone!
Here are a few posts about revisions but I am sure there are MANY more posts out there if you look

I was sleeved on Dec 12th too! Of course all surgeons have different guidelines but I am having soft food now too. I am having more protien drinks and less food now then your menu. I am supposed t have 3 meals and 2 snacks and seperate fluids from food by 30 minutes before and after.
I am trying to squeeze in a tablespoon of a soft/pureed veggie once a day. I baked some sweet potatoe and then mashed it and froze into 1 tablespoon size servings and just pull one out at a time.
I have to have my 2 snacks as protein drinks or else I can't get enough protein OR fluids in. I am having a hard time with getting enough fluids in, but otherwise doing okay.
A couple of protein menu suggestions - take one of those 2.8 oz tuna pouches and mix with a little mayo or miracle whip. It will make 3 meals. Perhaps split up the cheese crisps over multiple meals and put a bit of the tuna on the cheese crisps.
Canned chicken, mix with 1/2 cup of greek yogurt and a dab of miracle whip and put a bit of lemon juice and maybe some curry. A yummy chicken salad that probably makes about 7-8 servings, could be eaten with a few of the cheese crips too.
