Frozen yogurt??

Can we have it? If so what kind? I have hated yogurt all of my life, but I loooovvvee ice-cream. I recently tried the greek yogurt and either it was spoiled or I can't even tolerate the smell. The smell was that of sour milk. If we can have frozen yogurt, what stage is that clear liquid, liquid, puree, or after six weeks? Thanks sleevers.
I eat it... and whatever kind I want. :) My doctor is more about moderation than deprivation, even if it means I might lose a little slower than some other people... He seems to feel we're more prepared for "real life" when we're farther out from surgery and can eat more if we have our feelings and compulsions about food under control while we're at our best restriction and losing the fastest...although... I lost 16 pounds from mid November to mid December... so a little frozen yogurt shouldn't hurt.
And about greek yogurt... I think that stuff is just awful... smells awful and if you dare taste it, be prepared.. it's ick. lol
Good luck to you!

I'm eating some chocolate peanut butter artic zero right now! It's not bad, it has more of a italian ice consistancy than ice cream, but it's great for a cold/sweet fix and it's full of protein and fiber with only 150 calories in the whole pint! My nutritionist told me about it two weeks ago and she said it's great for bariatric patients!
I'm pre-op still, but i'm planning on keeping this stuff around for when I can't kick a sweet craving.

Ditto what Tripmom said.
This is for maintainence, not for the weight loss phase. Too many calories, too many carbs, too little protein, and you're going to be able to eat basically an unlimited amount.
Sweets and desserts are pretty much something to leave behind, especially until you hit goal.
Good luck!

It's not something I'd recommend during loss just because of calories and carbs. I can't tolerate Greek Yogurt but I see someone up thread recommended a brand I might enjoy during maintenance (again, right now too many carbs).
My approach to things that are relatively healthy but too high carb for me now is to remind myself that I can have them in moderation in maintenance and just move on. That said, there are some foods I know I can't have in moderation in maintenance because around them I have no self control (mostly starchy/salty like pasta, break, crackers).
