According to this, most adults need 45 - 60 gm protein and at least 78 gm a day to preserve muscle mass.  Hmmm.......our docs know what they are talking about.

Wish I could put much stock in this study.  Only 25 young couch potatoes.  While I like the point it tries to make about getting more protein in the diet, there is not enough meat and potatoes to satisfy me.  (pun intended)
