Exercise and dizzy/fatigue
And yes, I'm going to talk to my doctor about it next week when I have an appointment and until then just take it easy on the work outs.
Lately when I hit cardio I get really dizzy. I can't go as long on the treadmill and last time nearly passed out. I wasn't really going all that hard, but wasn't the easy 2.5 stuff I was doing early on either. Like 3.5-4.0 walking. I get a little head rush when I stand up too fast too these days. My blood pressure is fine (103/66 right now actually). I've just had blood drawn last week (11 vials!) so I'll know those results at my next appointment.
I'm eating around 650-800 calories per day at this point. Under 40 carbs, try to stay under 40 fat. I usually get 60-80 protein. I will admit that I had slacked off my workouts so I'm slowly ramping back up, but it seems like everytime I try to get back to it, I have issues again.
I've never added calories back for workouts in the past, but I also had quite a bit more fat to burn off. I'm wondering if I need to think about this now? I REALLY hate protein drinks - I'm allergic to half (soy allergy here), the other half make me sick (liquid whey and I are not friends) and the egg ones... I can't, the smell is just too bad. I've tried. Trust me. So I get everything from foods at this point. I could just eat another serving of tuna or whatever if I needed, not really a huge issue.
I drink 8-12 water per day.
I don't want to do that unless I have to, but I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing something else obvious.
Yes, of course, I'll take it easy until I see the doc, just wondering if there's something I'm not seeing. Another set of eyes and that...

Your labs should also shed light on any potential issues... I had dizziness way before the sleeve and it turns out I have chronically low B12. I give myself a B12 shot every month now and it's much better! Keep us posted.

Yeah, I figure the labs will probably show something. I thought about B12, but I'm taking a sublingual with 1000mg per day. Surely that's enough? Who knows though. I kind of hope it's something "that simple".
I could also be crazy... (Hey!)

My doctor says I should stop using Google because it gives everyone cancer ;)
No, seriously, that was interesting reading. I wouldn't have thought of Thiamine, but it is something that most of us (myself included) definitely lack in our diets these days!

I make sure I have protein before and after I work out, but I haven't added calories so much as rearranged them. I stay in the 700-800/day range, mostly. For example, I just ate a Starkist Tuna Lunch kit (less the crackers), and I will go to the gym in an hour. That gives me enough time for it to clear my stomach and not hurl while I'm lifting, lol.
I don't do protein shakes, per se, but when I get home, I'll add 1/2 a scoop of protein powder to my coffee or drink a bottle of water with Special K pink lemonade protein mix in it. Both are whey protein, but I don't do a ton at a time and I don't add protein to milk.
Hope this helps.
