New Orleans is practically my second home! No wonder! lol. My friends were looking at me strange as to why I was taking pictures of food that I've eaten many times before. This trip was very different from many of the trips I've taken...I didn't touch nor desire much of the food anymore...EXCEPT BEIGNETS!!!

Happy New Year. (I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to post these...my mouth is watering just going through them!

I don't know if you have ever heard of this...but I took a picture because most people haven't. All things bad! TURDUCKEN. its a chicken inside a duck inside a turkey...I went to a party and my friend made this. In the south, this is usually made around the holidays. She basically made it more rich my stuffing it with dressing and jumbalaya. YIKES!!!

so that concludes it.

The Big Easy;  Home of some of the best most RICH food in the nation. I said Adieu to Cajun Country....

SOMEHOW, I manage to lose a pound during all of this! I love my friends for wanting to do outdoor activities now! =)

Do send me a note and let me know if they like it. I LOVE that place, but I have a love of pretty much everything cajun so... they have hot plate lunches there. I like to grab some of their gumbo. A small container lasts me a few meals :) It's not fancy, it's ALL about the food there. 

i just sent them a message and they are so excited to try it out! Sometimes its never about how fancy it is...Trust me...New Orleans isn't exactly what you call fancy either HAHAH! thanks again!

I kept staring at the bread... but the Turducken looks SO good! I've heard of it before but never seen it. And to think, I just turned down a trip to New Orleans for this weekend!!! Ahh! Look what I'm missing!!!

haha. it may be good that you're missing out. It was hard to resist...VERY HARD! I was surprise that I could do it. Its even more interesting when you see someone make it! If you ever go....head to New Orleans during Mardi Gras. Its BANANAS!!!! =D

I would definitely bust my staple line wide open with the turkey thing and the bread. It's better that I keep my butt home for now! Omg... me and Mardi Gras! I would SO get arrested for flashing my boobies everywhere! LOL Yeah... I def need to go to New Orleans next year...
