Quick Lunch Ideas... (after the first few months)

I'm starting to get a little bored so looking for ideas... what's everyone eating for lunch these days?

My go to is a pouch of tuna with some salsa verde mixed in. Or leftover chicken and a piece of cheese and some veggies.

We don't always have leftovers though.

What's your favorite "grab it and go" lunch idea?

My "i don't want to cook" lunch is usually 2 1-oz turkey meatballs and a little individual size broccoli.

Otherwise, if I cook, I usually eat some combination of chicken and veggies, or ground turkey with some veggis mixed in, or just some plain meat of some sort. Im trying to eat more vegetables so stir-fry type dishes seems to work to get both protein/veggies.

Oh! I always forget about that bag of meatballs in the freezer! I'm totally making that for lunch next week!

Yeah, I'm just bored. I'll get over it... LOL. I'm sick of meat & veg, meat & veg.

I always tell myself that if I get tired of eating the same crap over and over, I COULD cook....and then I decide that meatballs arent realllly that bad

Im on the lookout for a husband that can cook. That's pretty much my only requirement lol

ROFLMAO. Yeah, my husband makes the most amazing meals, but he's been on a "no cooking" thing the past few weeks so I'm scrounging. I cannot cook to save my like. He did make this really good chipolte chicken thing the other night.

He also does laundry.

Yes, he has a brother, but he's "that family member" that no one wants to be around. LOL. No, you cannot have him. I do, however, rent him out, but he's kind of expensive and whines and wants expensive technology toys.

this is what i always keep at work: cottage cheese, cheese sticks, beef jerky. chicken/beef broth. i get the Oscar Mayer carving board turkey and ham. I measure out 2-2.5 oz and bag them. tuna pouches.  luckily i work in a small office so there is alot of fridge space. i keep about 5 protein drinks always. i usually always bring something in with me, but keep most of this stuff at work so i don't have to be stuck for anything. i got stuck one night after work and didnt have anything here.

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid soft proteins because they don't last as long for me. I didn't think about the carving board stuff! That's a great way - and they have something besides FREAKING TURKEY AND CHICKEN. *laughing*

Great ideas!
