No for me my weight loss slows down when I don't get enough fluid or protein my carbs are around 75 to 100+ grams depending on the day and what I am doing... for me I was told to up my carbs and so far it has worked for me.

Wow! You can eat a lot of carbs.

I can't tell for sure since my monthly cycle seems to affect my weight a lot but I think the carbs are slowing me down. I guess that's why I asked. I hate to avoid them for no reason, since that eliminates so many foods, but they do seem to be slowing me down.

Thanks for your input. I would love to know that I could eat that many without it being a problem.

That happens to everyone who's carb sensitive. Cut back down to normal levels and your loss will pick up again.

Yeah, I think I am carb sensitive. They do seem to derail my losses when I eat very many. It's too bad they are in so many foods. It's much easier though now to avoid them since I eat so little any way. He He

Thanks for your post!

From tracking my food intake, I know that carbs not only slow me down on progress, but also make me hungrier the next day.

I know! It's amazing how you can be more hungry after you have just eaten some darn carbs! Err.
I wish society would get on board and make a ton of great low-carb options for us! He He

Well, I'll tell you the problem with that.

My big issue with carbs had to do with hunger and reduction of protein in my diet.  I charted everything for a while, and I could trace increased hunger and cravings directly to carbs, and it didn't matter at all if the carbs were simple or complex.  More carbs simply set me up for binges and ravenous hunger for two to four days.  The stalls were also increased for me because I could not eat enough protein if I added more carbs.  Less protein almost always resulted in slower weight loss for me.  That's my story and I am sticking to it, you have to find your truth and stick to it.

Lol, sing it sister, sing it! He He. I am so with you.

If I don't get my protein, I stop dead in my tracks. Learned that the hard way! That's the reason I didn't make my 3 month goal by 5 lbs! He He. I had just started nursing school and thought that as long as I just ate less than 600 calories a day I would be fine. Wrong! I tried that for two weeks, didn't lose an ounce. He He. Well, you don't have to teach me that twice! He He

I guess I just had to press my luck on the carbs now. He He. I think I learned the hard way on this one too. He He. I know they have to go. It was a nice little break but my loses have all but stopped. So, back to low carb I go, I go. He He. Oh well, my loses have been so wonderful so far, much better than those stupid carbs anyway;)

Thanks for your input Elina!
