Home and sleeved.

So, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am home.  Surgery was Wednesday morning.  Everything has gone very well.  I did not have a drain, so that made me happy.  My surgeon said that even when you have a drain it doesn't always help because if the drain isn't in the right place it won't catch the leak.  Anyway, I have had very little pain and as long as I keep up with my meds, I don't have to worry about that.  I have been able to drink my fluids without problem and get up and walk quite a bit.  I haven't had gas pain yet, though I am passing it frequently.

I guess long story short, I just want to wish all those newly sleeved and yet to be sleeved a recovery as wonderful as mine has been so far!  (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!)

Wow, that's cool - sounds like an "easy" recovery ahead for you!!! This gives me hope, my turn a week from Monday!! Best wishes!!
