whats ur bougie sizzzeeee ????
40
I believe that while bougie size matters, surgeon technique (how close to the top and bottom of valves they start, and how tight to the bougie they staple) makes at least as much difference as bougie size within the range of 32 to 42.
A tight 32 is tighter than my tight 40 for sure, but my tight 40 is tighter than a lot of 32s on this board right now due to surgeon technique. I can't eat quite 2 oz of dense protein at 7 1/2 months.

I agree with Mom4Jazz. My surgeon told me that there's way too much emphasis on bougie size--that the technique of the surgeon is what makes the most difference. I have a 34 and can barely eat about 2 1/2 oz of dense protein at 3 months out. Good luck!
