24 weeks out - 7 pounds lost this week! Ramblings of a crazy person

Crazy! If you look at my weekly numbers (on my profile at the very bottom), you will see that I haven't lost that much in... well... 22 weeks or so! I lost SEVEN POUNDS in one week.

Yeah, I know, next week won't be as good, but I'm going to love it while I can :) I had upped my calories to keep losing, so I decided to slice them back down again and that seemed to have made my body decide to lose. I also restarted tracking every single thing I put in my mouth AND my water intake (which I think I had slacked up on) and I started sleeping a little more. Let's see what next week brings, but for now.

Rockin'!

Other NSVs this week - my "new" business pants are getting too loose (dammit!), I can feel actual individual ribs when I'm laying down, had to notch down the new bra to the lowest setting, had to buy XL (just ONE X) exercise bras, my feet are smaller (again. Not happy about this one, my walking shoes are expensive!)

Woohoo!  You are definitely rockin' it!

It's funny how a calorie change one way or another will jumpstart things when you're getting stuck.   The clothes thing is a blessing and a curse -- it's nice to see smaller sizes, but it sucks when you can only wear them for a month.  I need to start visiting thrift stores.

Yay for you!

Yeah, thrift stores make me crazy. The lack of organization and the "everything is all here at once" thing just makes me twitch. Luckily, a client of mine has lost a lot of weight over the past year and is passing her stuff over to me, which is FABULOUS!

I think you are doing wonderful!!  You stated  "you will see that i haven't lost that much in... well... 22 weeks."  I'm looking at your weight loss and you've lost OVER 100 lbs in less than 6 months. Give yourself credit for the fabulous loss -- you're actions are going to get and keep you skinny for the long run!!   Congratulations!!!

Oh, no trust me... I"m loving the 100 pounds that are GONE - I meant that I hadn't lost that much since very early out. It was a crazy and good and exciting week for sure. Yes, it was probably a one time thing, but I'll take it and love on it :)

Go Candy!  That had to be so encouraging to see that number on the scale after a period of no loss.  So do you think that upping the calories or decreasing the calories is what did it for you?

Honestly, I have no idea. I did start back tracking every little thing, water included too. Who knows. It could have been any of those things or just a fluke. I give up trying to figure it out. My body does whatever it wants.
