Please tell me it's OK

doggz...my nut has the straw rule.  It doesn't mean you have to actually drink through the straw - it is a test to make sure the consistency is thin enough to go through a straw.  For example, you could not suck pudding up through a straw, so you couldn't have it.

Ah excellent point.  Thanks for pointing that out!  Good idea really.

 No rule actually says you cant have sodas after surgery either. Your stomach has too much scar tissue to stretch for the first year however so it is advised to not have any just incase you drink too much too fast and end up dumping or vomiting
