3 months out and hungry

Ok, I had the gastric sleeve 7-20-2011. My doctor used the biggest bogie, from what im told.( don't know if I spelled that right). I am very hungry after about an hour after eating. Maby it is just head hunger,(and I start my job Wednesday so maby because im bored at home),but damn im Hungry!!! Help!! Thanks!

What are you eating? Solid proteins will keep you feeling full longer than soft proteins. Are you waiting 30-60 minutes to drink after eating? That will also help. Congrats on your weight loss...looks like you are doing well!

I had some hunger issues that started about 2.5 months out but i turned out to be related to my acid reflux issues. If you're not on a PPI, get one. I found it helps to eat frequently (just little snacks or a proteins shake) and drink water all day.

Eating stimulates acid production so that could explain why you are getting hungry after you eat. My doc said eating too fast causes the stomach to produce more acid than normal, so make sure you are eating slow.

You are doing great with weight loss, haven't had surgery yet so I don't have any suggestions! Keep up the good work...O and what is a "bogie"?
