My first post here

So here I am, I am hoping that I am less than 60 days out from surgery.  I have just completed my 5th month of the medically supervised dieting, got all my labs, upper GI and nutritionist out of the way and I hope to schedule the psych for next week.  My surgeon's office seems to think that I can get insurance approval within 2 weeks of my final 6 month visit on 11/15.  

I am ready for this trip.  I am excited and nervous all at the same time!

Good to have you here Kev.  There are a lot of guys on the forum and there are a few who have lost well over 200-300 lbs.  The sleeve is a life saving tool for most of us.  It won't be long before you are asking us to save you a place on the Losers Bench!  Welcome buddy!

hello...I just had my first post also...I just got scheduled for surgery for the 31 of Oct....I had my last 12 month required weigh in on October 4Th. My request was sent into my insurance a few days later...And I got a phone call the very next morning it was APPROVED!....They finally called me yesterday to tell me the surgery date....and was it closer than I was originally told...so as you can see it  can extremely fast ...Good luck to you!!!
