This is a little late but I had to say this :p I've been on Isagenix products for a little over a month! I was going through the process of getting gastric bypass because I felt absolutely hopeless and that it was my last resort. After only 2 weeks I called and withdrew myself from the process. I've never felt better because of these products and I have hope again :) They are GREAT nutrition and really help with cravings and feeling satisfied. I have a friend getting gastric very soon and I'm going to recommend them to her!

My favorites are from the Syntrax Nectar Sweets Line - Chocolate Truffle and Vanilla Bean Torte.  You should definitely search online for recipes, as there are lots of ways to make the shakes better, such as adding fruit, sugar free pudding, sugar free syrups, etc.  I have used many of them from the Eggface blog and enjoyed them.

Just know that protein powder is very individual - what some people love, you will hate.  Get samples if you can... it will save you from throwing money away when you decide you hate the product!

I am 6 months out and tried a lot of different powders and shakes. Now I primarily use GNC AMP Protein Powder (buy it the first week each month with gold card savings!) and Click Protein Powder. I spruce the shakes up with various sugar free torani or davinci syrups as well as fruits and things. Ready made shakes I use Costco Premier Protein.  Hope this helps!

I really struggled to find a lower carb powder.  I kept using syntha -6 and muscle milk because I didn't like the taste of the lean dessert or synthrax nectars...and was not willing to keep ordering stuff I was not going to use.  I finally bit the bullet and bought some Isopure (chocolate)....I am so ticked at myself for not trying it earlier...It  has a very light taste...so switching over and going to get more protein...less carbs...and less calories....I am a happy sleever today!!!!

It's purely up to you.  Everyone's taste is different.  It didn't really matter to me what protein shake I chose because I ALWAYS doctor iit up with Torani SF syrup.  What I ended up with was Unjury Vanilla and chocolate...with those two...my flavor combos are almost endless.  My fav torani flavors right now are pumpkin pie, brown sugar cinnamon, chocolate, peppermint, gingerbread and English toffee.  I'm drinking a chocolate shake with 1/2 peppermint and 1/2 chocolate syrup....tastes like a peppermint patty!

good luck
