Hoping and nervous about surgery Monday!

Suposed to be having surgery Monday, but not yet approved. I'm already nervous about it, and waiting for approval is driving me a bit nuts. Each day the office says that my insurance promises and answer by the afternoon, but not happening yet. Maybe tomorrow?! Nervous about the pain, had band removal in June......so a lesser surgery is still fresh in my memory! Yikes!.! but it's all good. Thanks for listening!

I hope you get the approval tomorrow. I suspect you will be on that phone
so there is no need for me to suggest for you to call...lol

I hope and pray this happens for you before surgery...an answer that is.
I will also pray for a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery.

Thanks so much! Surgery was cancelled at 5pm this evening....( the hospital was calling to make sure I wanted to self pay the 10000.00 just for the surgeon and the hosp. not anesthesia etc. )

I did call and call, the office and the insurance co. multiple times and got different answers from Aetna each time I called.

So it's cancelled until the 4th or the 10th. We'll see, but I have to say I think I'm more ready now! :) Thanks again.

Don't be Nervous! It will be so worth it in the end! Good Luck with your insurance and even more luck come Monday! I wish you a smooth and Speedy Recovery!

My best advice is.......call your insurance company yourself. You may already be approved. My story is........my docs office didn't know. I called the insurance company and they told me I was approved. I then called the docs office. It would have take too long for letters to be mailed and received. Also, this gave me the first case on my surgery day! Losers bench.......here I come. Surgery is Monday 9/26/12!

Been there,,,,, did that! Thanks, though, and things still are screwed up. I'm cancelled now until the 4th or 10th which complicates work a bit! but...

I'm thinking everything is meant for a reason, and this has given me more time to sort things out and gain more confidence.....oh yes and to loose another 6lbs. Thanks again! Sharon
