Surgery in the morning!
That is exactly what I did, prayed myself to sleep, that and every time I have ever had surgery or been really sick, I sing over and over to myself, the old hymn, Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. God can give you a calm you cant comprehend, he may even use the Versed drug to do it, but He is God and He can do it how He pleases, but He will do it. Praying that everything goes well. Keep us posted!!
Angels watching over you
Angels watching over you
I am in the same boat as you. I'm scheduled for surgery at 7:45am. I have to leave for the hospital at 4am. I'm thinking of staying up all night. That way, I'll be tired and maybe more likely to be relaxed and sleepy. I too believe in the power of prayer. I have several prayer chains working for me. I'm confident that God will watch over me tomorrow morning. He will watch over you as well.
Best wishes to you. I'm converting from the band to the sleeve. I'm praying that I don't have too much scar tissue or damage inside that would make getting the sleeve more dangerous or difficult. When I had the band surgery, I was extremely relaxed. I hope it is the same this time.
Again good luck and God Bless you.
See you on the boards again soon.
