Sharp pain...
I have had so much pain since my surgery in the same location you mentioned. That's where they take the stomach out and they cut through the muscle. It was so bad last week that I went to my doctor and he sent me to the ER for a CT scan. Fortunately, there were no problems. He said he's had a few patients that experience more severe pain for a longer period of time. My surgery was 3 weeks ago tomorrow and I still have a lot of pain, especially bending or getting up from a sitting position. I've been standing at my computer a lot the past week or so. I stayed 2 days in the hospital just because I couldn't take the pain and I stayed home for one and a half weeks. I wish I could've stayed home even longer. I've lost 28 pounds and I keep reminding myself that the pain is worth it and will end eventually!
