I have had middle back pain (across where bra hooks up) that started around month 5/6 or so. I have been going to Chiropractor for about 6 weeks now. Thankfully insurance covers 24 visits per year. He said he sees it a lot with WLS. I still have pain, but the adjustments have helped tremendously. He's given me exercises to do in between visits and I really believe they are helping. Dr. said the muscles are re-adjusting to the weight loss. The pain has gone away. Now I feel more of a pressure, like someone is standing on my back.

I had the upper GI today. I'll do the CT scan in a few weeks. I'll talk to the doc in a few weeks about the results.

I have went to the chiropracter quite a few times since surgery and it has really helped. I think our backs get used to carrying the weight we have for so long that we adjust to it, and when you lose quick it starts throwing things out of wack. It has deffinitly gotten better this last month....So Frisco the tail bone pain is permanent? I guess i need to build some butt muscles so I have something to sit on :)

I had some hip and back pain - particularly at right around the spot you are in now.  It has all gone away.  I credit exercise - strengthening my back muscles.  Swimming is great for that.
