frustrating stall
Hi Everyone,
Every time I start to loose again I stall... I was in the upper 230;s I started to loose now I am in the lower 230's and am stuck there.. I can't win.. I hate this.. I knew it would be hard and take time but I seem to stall for weeks on hand.. Thanks for listening.. I am glad with what I lost so far but it is very frustrating to keep stalling. thanks
susan.
I just stalled Again, too. I have noticed a pattern though; it seems that just before and after my period I lose rapidly the nothing for two weeks. However I continue to stay stedfast on my working out regimen. For the first time since my VSG I am craving carbs, big time. I was like a dry drunk over the weekend and made 3 different cakes to take to a friends party. I baked everything I was craving and took it to the party. And everything I prepared was eaten by 1130pm. My friends guests loved everything I baked. I am staying focused and keeping to my goal in spite of my stall. Good luck!
I know it feels frustrating, but it's working.. you are going downwards. That's a positive!
I don't lose steadily. It's a game of a couple lbs down, then nothing or even gains for a week. This is just the pattern some of us have, and when I'm in a losing stage I suspect it will end at any time.. and then repeat.
Just keep on riding it (you really don't have much choice!) and try to see the positive. You have lost a very significant amount since you started this.. you are not gaining, you are losing.
It's not about how fast it comes off, it's about getting it off and working on keeping it off for the rest of our lives.. that's a long haul (hopefully).. don't stress over the speed right now, just keep it going in a downwards direction.

Stalls are awful!! Keep your chin up! The scale WILL start moving again!! I was just in a 3 week long stall! I got down to 238, and then I gained 2 lbs, lost 1 lb, and stayed at 239 for 3 long, awful, stressful weeks. I talked with my NUT because I was also concerned that I can eat too much, she says what I can eat is normal, but she would like me to increase my cals from 600 per day to 800-1000. I increase them for ONE day, and I woke up this morning down 2 lbs to 237!! I got on the scale twice cause I didnt believe it!!!
