Have you searched this forum for the "three week stall"? This is very common. It seems to happen to everyone. I suspect its the body's way of recuperating. You are not doing anything wrong and this will pass. I stalled at 2-3 weeks out and it lasted for a while, but I caught up when it broke.
Hang in there!!

Please be patient with your body. It's undergone lots of trauma and a huge regimen change and it has to adapt. It will.... and you will see pounds drop.
My whole journey (OK, only six weeks) so far has been lose a few pounds, then nothing for a week or so, lose and few more and then nothing again... but in the end, the numbers now are lower than before and that's the goal.
Those first few weeks are so hard but it does get a little more fulfilling when you can actually chew something.... but still, it takes time, lots of time but you will be so pleased with where you are a year from now.
Hang in there and you'll see that scale move again. Honest!

4 Weeks today, no exercising and the dreaded 3 week stall is depressing, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. For about a week and a half the scale stayed in the same place. I cut back calories, drank just protein shakes, walking extra and nothing. Everyone who saw me said I was looking great and really losing well. I laughed and died inside. Then on my 4 week appt at the doctors 3 pounds fell away. Total of 20 pounds in 4 weeks. (that was yesterday)Today I went to exercise (received the okay) at curves, got measured and weighed, guess what I lost 10.9 inches total, 3.5 inches on my waist alone.YEAH ME and MY SLEEVE !!!!

I'm sorry you are having that problem.  But I am really glad to hear about it so that I know what is coming my way (my surgery is next Wednesday).

This reminds me of how babies grow, only in reverse.  Do you remember putting your kid to bed in the crib when he/she was one size, and the next morning he/she is the next size up? We got a puppy at Christmas, and she grew the same way.  Maybe that is just how animals grow and loose weight.

Anyway, keep up the good work.  I'll look forward to reading your posts in the future.  I'm sure you will have lots of weight-loss successes to tell us about.

I think people get confused when they read about "the three week stall" thinking it means a stall that last 3 weeks when actually it is talking about a stall that commonly occurs at about the 3rd week after surgery. Sometimes it can last 3 weeks, sometimes more or less,  bu*****pically occurs around the 3rd week.  Hang in there!  The loss will start again as long as you stick to plan.
