getting your water intake in!

Every one should aim for 64 oz of water every day because our body is mostly water and only functions at its optimum level when fully fueled.

I will add that since surgery I have noticed feeling more dehydrated than normal.  My stomach is so swollen it takes me an hour to drink 8 oz, so if I am drinking 64 oz of fluid and don't drink for 30 minutes after each meal, I am essentially eating and drinking 10 hours a day!  I know I will be able to drink more as the swelling goes down, but when your body is healing, it needs every advantage to heal.

If any one has a better answer, I'm open to it. :)
