Sooo many protein powders
I have been on a pre-op diet for the past 4 weeks. The only shake I have tried is GNC's Wheybolic 60. It is really good. I like the chocolate, but the guys at GNC say that everyone loves the Banana. The normal usage is 60g of protien per shake and that is three scoops of powder in 12oz of water. I just do one scoop in 4oz of water. That gives you 20g of protein with only 2.6g of total carbs and only .66g of carbs from sugars.
Have you been to the sites of vitalady.com, theworldaccordingtoeggface.com, tryabouttime.com, email and ask for free samples of Muscle Milk at [email protected], gotein.com http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/amos/4309357/Where-can-I-get-protein-shake-samples/ Hope it all helps you best of luck. After my surgery my taste buds changed so the shakes I loved then now I cannot stand.
Check Walmart. When I went online they had a lot of great Whey Protein for cheap vs. GNC. GNC is my staple store but it can get pricey. Also, remember that RiteAid currently carries a lot of GNC protein mixes (at least they do in VA) and they might help you out as well.
From what I can see, Walmart seems to be the cheapest, hands down and a lot of them ship directly to your home if you don't want to go in. I know they have several lb containers and three flavor varieties for about $50 or less.
I hope this helps!
