I've never been great with the heat, but starting recently, I just can't stay cool.  I keep my house very cool but I get in a lather when I do anything.  I'm serious, I can get get sweaty washing dishes in cold water!!  I'm scheduled to be sleeved on Sept 26.  In a couple of days, I'll be able to say "I'm getting sleeved THIS MONTH"   Please tell me that my internal air conditioner will start to work again.  That would be a "cool" nsv.  Cheers!

I dont know how it will be for you, but I am getting cold quicker since my surgery. I find I am much more cold sensitive in the A/C and in the pool than I was before.

All I can say is Please, God, let this surgery make me cold".  Today was my son's first day at kindergarten.  I was the only parent there sweating like a pig.  Seriously.  I think the malabsorptive surgeries are the ones that tend to make you cold.  It's *almost* worth getting the DS for, I tell ya.

I used to be a "Yes please, blast the AC if you would" kind of girl and now find myself reaching for a sweater more often than not... and I'm almost 4 months out.

You'll likely get cooler once the weight starts coming off... less fat for insullation!

I used to say that I was always comfortable - it had to be Atlanta summer or Buffalo winter before I would think of complaining about the temperature.  After the surgery, I have actually found myself cold pretty often.  I actually have a jacket on the back of my chair, and have only turned on the AC 3 days this summer.  So, there is hope!

I used to get very sweaty and hot when I was outside and now it takes much longer and higher temps to make me that way.  I also find myself reaching for a throw when I'm watching tv or grabbing a pair of socks during the day.

I am so glad to hear that coolness becomes the norm after WLS. I too sweat like crazy doing anything! When I exercise, well I expect to sweat but like Capr_Diem says, I pour sweat when I do the dishes. I realize that there are some meds I'm on that contribute as well as the weight so this surgery (VSG) is going to be so refreshing!!! I won't have to have my house set at 60 degrees in the winter. Woohoo!
