anyone have low blood glucose in the morning? I'm only one week out and do not have diabetes, but every morning I wake up nauseated and shaking it takes a little while for me to get in enough proteins to feel better, if you have this problem, what have you done to help? Ive tried drinking my last protein shake before bed and it has helped some.

try having some dense protein before bed. The shake is good but is gone so quickly. Maybe cottage or string cheese or leftover meat from dinner?

As Hollykim suggested the meat (Protein) before bed helps. I use to expeience this all the time, I would be disease and even have night sweats due to low blood sugar. I started having a pure protein prior to bed and it cleared it up. I did notice that it had to be just the protein, if I had anything like a protein shake that had sugar, even a sugar substitute I still had problems. It may seem weird but I keep a bag of turkey bacon in my frig and grab 2 to 3 slices befor bed or a slice of lunch meat (even though I know thats not recommended) but it works for me. The level of protein yu may need may need tio be adjusted, just play around with it until you get the right amount. Even having a protein source kept by your bed (such as a protein bar) upon wakening can help. Hope this help, good luck.
