Realized I'm almost a year out AND finally hit onederland

Time has flown by like a big dog.

Realized that I'm less than a month from my one year re-birthday.  And exactly seven days from my birthday (33 this year).

This has been a hectic week, moved, unpacked, and got my son ready for school.  Eating and drinking have been a tad bit outta control, also took the week off from exercising hard to rest before I begin a more intense weight lifting program and martial arts program next week.  But to my surprise I finally am seeing 199 on the scale in the morning, I've actually been checking every day for the past week just to be sure I wouldn't creep back up lol.

So, I'm about to hit a birthday, my surgiversary, moved, broke 200 finally, and am about to step up the volume and intensity of cardio and weight lifting next week (and probably GOOD food/protein/BCAA intake as well).

This has been one hell of a ride, I just wanted to thank all of the OH members for allowing me to share this journey with you all.  And yeah, I will post a C25K update and an official one year re-cap when it's time :).

Like jennchap said, I'm going to ******g own this **** lol.

Thank you, looks like you're halfway there.  It's amazing how the last year has flown by and this new lifestyle isn't really new anymore, it's a habit.  Very cool.  Good luck and thanks again.

lol, thanks man.  Ur a real vet, I'm a pretender :)

Funny thing is I have no effing idea where to stop losing weight but I suppose my body has told me I'm about where I need to be.

My original goal was 250 (everyone said that was a good weight for me), then 225, then 200....screw it, as long as the numbers don't go up and I'm  healthy I'm happy :).

I was the same way..... docs first goal for me was 175

Got there than I said....how about 5 more (since I was already in WL mode) he said great...do it...

Got to 170.....I say how about 5 more..... he said go for it....

Got to 165......I say how about 5 more.....he said you can go 10 if you want......

Got to 155 and felt that's it.....and at the same time WL kinda came to a halt/crawl

So I found my range 155-160 Seemed right for me......right at 25BMI

I weigh in at my appointment at 148....lost a few more in anticipation of the statistical 10lbs. regain.

Doc wrote some **** down and said "Perfect" Stop WL (that was a first for me....a doctor saying stop losing weight!) He said "Perfection" That's 100% Excess Weight Loss (again weird....I'm far from perfect)  He than said hold that weight for a year.... I got about 2 months to go at the same weight..... I all good at this weight...I try and stay 148-150.....and I will be thrilled with 160 as a long term weight !!!!

So I guess after that ramble..... you will settle into your weight.....bells ring....fireworks shoot through the sky..... you know when you get there!!!!

Thank you, not sure about the inspiration part but I appreciate it.  This has been a struggle, have been some rough days but many more good ones I'm happy to report.

Thanks again
