Went back to basics the last week and a half and have lost 6.2 pounds!!! Yes it still works at 3+ years out. That's with a cpl Oz's of protein with veggies. I don't need all the carbs!!!

Everything and anything...Breads, sweets, chips...Anything that wasn't healthy. I wasn't eating much protein.... If it was bad and carby, I was grazing it!!

Donna, I love your post.  We all need to know that the sleeve will never abandon us and we can always just go back to basics and make it work again.  It is so very encouraging to know it works for you.

I forgot to add....I still have lots of restriction with it also...2 to 3 Oz's of dense protein and veggies...I say about a cup of food.... 4 Oz's of dense protein, I get uncomfortable...

ANDDDD I may add that was with a 42 bougie...So don't fret people. Bigger isn't always bad!

So happy for you Donna!

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!

So very encouraging. Thank you for post. I'm only a newbie doing well so far and beginning to wonder if this is sustainable long term.

I've posted in the past about how little I eat but that has begun to open up a bit. Still under 1000 cals/day but some days no longer under 600.

Frisco has commented that long term succes is about the C word.....Commitment.

He's right, we all have to walk our walk daily.
