its my turn tomorrow and I am nervous!
I'm tomorrow too! I have to be at the hospital by 8:30. I am excited and ready to start this journey.
I can't lie, I am nervous about being put under. I have specifically told the doctor that they have to knock me out before I go back to the OR. When I had my C-section last year, I had a full on panic attack from not being in control of my limbs and the mask that the anesthesiologist put over my face. I was crying, screaming and hyperventilating.
Other than that, I am ready. Don't worry about failing. Just focus on recovering and sticking to plan. Walk Sip Walk and repeat several times a day. As long as you follow through, you'll be as successfull as everyone else. We all are making a HUGE decision to have this surgery done. If you can follow through with getting 85% of your stomach removed, you can follow through with your eating plan.
