Ten Pounds to Go and 1 step closer!!

Woop Woop!!

I am one step closer to having the VSG!!

Today I attended the Bariatics class at Kaiser and  met with the surgeon for the first time. I am so excited because he pretty much approved me! I just need to lose anouther 10 pounds and then call in to get scheduled!! 

I am also super relieved because the doctor said that my Ulcerative Colitis would not be an issue with the surgery and may even help with some of my symtoms. ALSO as an FYI the doctor said due to my Ucerative Colitis the VSG was the ONLY choice for me... good thing the VSG is already what I wanted

So far in the Kaiser Process this is what I have done:

Weight Loss Surgery Seminar: Completed 6/1/11 
Bariatric Orientation: Completed 7/1/11
Nutritionist Appointment: Completed and cleared 7/8/11
Mental Health appointment: Completed and Cleared 7/11/11
Bariatric Class and Meeting with Surgeon: Completed 8/11/11

Now to go eat less and exercise more! Wish me luck!!
