Week 4 of stall----GRRRR. Trying to stay positive so I started looking up things that weigh 60lbs- about the amt of weight I have allready lost.

5 adult 10 pin bowling balls (the BIG ones)
Elephant's penis (seriously? Who took the time to weigh that?)
46 large thin crust pizzas (that I don't even lust for anymore)
About the average fats and oils that go through an american dishwasher per year
60 pints of beer
Beth Chapman's breasticles ( Dog the Bounty Hunter's wife)
778 pairs of D&G sunglasses
76 pieces of British Currency (British pounds..tee hee)

What a great idea. A fantastic way to look at your weight loss. You should do this every so often on your way down to your goal and see what you find.

Hang in there....these stalls make me crazy !!! All you can do, is keep on doing what you're doing...and trust in the tool....and the program you are on. My weight loss pattern completely changed at about 4 months out. And then again at about 6 months out. It is a total mind game we get to play. All I can suggest is increasing your exercise, and increasing protein intake.

That, and just hang in there...it'll happen...

I measure my weight loss in boxes of cat litter because:

A. Those bad boys are heavy
B. I carry 2 or more of them every grocery shopping expedition (4 cats).

You are down 3 of the standard 20 lb boxes or 2+ of the jumbo 28 lb boxes.

For giggles and to really put your loss in perspective, go to the cat litter aisle and just TRY carrying 3 of those 20 lb boxes. Almost impossible - but you were doing it every day.

Stalls suck.

Highest weight: 335 lbs, BMI 50.9
Pre-op weight: 319 lbs, BMI 48.5
Current range: 140-144, BMI 21.3 - 22

175+ lbs lost, maintaining since February 2012

I always stop in the dog food aisle and pick up a bag of food that weighs what I have lost. Go pick up a 20lb bag and imagine 3 of those!

Another good one is 1 box of 4 sticks of butter is a lb of fat. U have lost 60 boxes or 240 sicks. That will make u feel better!
