I am a NERVOUS WRECK! I have been so laid back and non chalant to this surgery but it is starting to HIT me! I appreciate all the words of encouragement and concern that I have received from everyone. I will try and do a mini update on Monday while I am in the hospital!

Oh Gia - you are going to do AWESOME! You are in the best possible hands with Dr. A - he really cares about his patients. Like I tell everyone with nerves - your chances of complications are very low - you chances of problems if you stay the weight you are, the chances of developing (and dieing from) a obesity related disease (diabeties, high blood pressure, etc) are great. So if your going to Vegas and betting - bet on the surgery!
Try and relax - everything is going to go great!

It's normal to feel that way. I was a nervous wrec****il they wheeled me in. LOL
I am a week out right now... Even though it's been hard at first, it is getting better by the day. I am so excited to be on this journey. It helps that I am 10 pounds lighter than last week, too!
So, just keep your eye on the prize. Soon the surgery will be long gone and a distant memory.
