For the first 3 days after surgery, I could barely keep water down - and not much of that.  Then the 4th and 5th day after surgery, I ate ice chips with lemon juice and a little salt.  That worked for me.  About day 6 I started doing better and am wonderful now.  I wouldn't worry too much, as long as you get better in the next day or two.

Just like in your other topic regarding the same issue, probiotics help, but the liquids in, liquids out is pretty standard. Once you get to full liquids, and something with any consistency it will get better. Your body is still pissed off at what you've put it through. It's very common for just about all of us. If you're allowed yogurt, the good bacteria in the yogurt will help neutralize the bacteria upset just like the probiotics will help.
