too few calories - HELP!!!
any suggestions on what i can do to reach my daily caloric goals 800-1000? my nut says this is what i need for my level of physical activity. because i haven't been able to get that much food down. i have cut back on my working out to every other day. i seem to be getting between 500-700 calories a day. i am 8 wks out on progression diet. i am trying to stay away from the sugars, carbs, and fats. i didn't tolerate the protein mixes so i take protein shots. i know they are not a great quality, but my nut said its better than nothing. however, i always reach my protein goal and 80% is from food. i have made best friends with salmon!!!
i am all for eating less and working out less. however, 500-700 calories does not give me enough energy to get through my day. but short of breaking my diet and to high calories "bad" foods, i don't know how to get more calories in. i want to take this gift and use it properly.
any suggestions on food or ways to sneak calories in that don't add too much fat/carbs/sugar?
