not sure what this sensation is.

I might of already asked this question, forgive me I have been doped up lately. I have this feeling that my now little stomach is having contractions. Or is that gas? I really don't know my sleeve at all yet (6 days post-opt). Anyone who has some examples of such sort would be great! Also, I felt hungry yesterday, and put down the gatorade2 and picked up the protein shake. It worked, after few sipps I did not feel the hunger. I am just trying to get my liquids in. I guess I am suppose to be having 3 meals and 2 snacks. By my surgeons directions, and it's runs together. lol ???

Spasms...they're spasms.  Hunger feeling...acid.  I was sent home with meds for both.  If you weren't sent home with them, I would call and ask your doc.  It is helpful to take at least the first few weeks as you are healing and learning your new tummy.  Don't worry about getting 3 meals and 2 snacks at this point you just need to worry about staying hydrated and getting in what you can. You do feel like you are eating/drinking all day.  Seperation of meals will come later when you can take in more than a few sips at a time :)

I am preop and ever since I started my liquid diet I have been getting the same feeling. It feels kind of like my stomach is eating itself lol. Mine also feels like gas but nothing comes out. Maybe our bodies just getting used to this difference
