Revision Question

Thank you!! I know you have had a rough time, also!  When my band tightens up for no reason, it will go back down in a few hours, or the next day.  So, luckily, it never stays so tight that I have to get an unfill. 

No guarantee that I can get this surgery, but it didn't hurt to try!

Hi Melly, I had that sudden, random tightening of the band. It was really disturbing. One day I would be able to eat normally and then the next day unable to even swallow water. I regained a lot of weight relying on slider foods and I was vomiting frequently and having unfills/fills like crazy.

With the sleeve, I never experience sudden tightness. My restriction is consistent and I can tolerate any food although I focus on protein so there is not much room for other stuff yet. I have never vomited with my sleeve. I can eat in the morning, I can eat when it is hot outside, and I can eat whether I am in Chicago or Las Vegas or Nashville.

I didn't even realize how miserable living with the band had become until I was able to experience how normal life is with the sleeve.
